CodeLab One is a division of The Donatello Group SA (PTY) Ltd, based in Johannesburg, South Africa. We build custom websites, web applications, mobile apps, and digital platforms. This policy explains how we handle information collected through our website and services.
2. Information we collect
When you submit a contact form or WhatsApp enquiry, we collect your name, email address, and the details you provide about your project. We also collect anonymised page view data through our in-house analytics system. We do not use third-party tracking tools such as Google Analytics.
3. How we use your information
We use your contact details to respond to your enquiry, provide a project proposal, and communicate about ongoing work. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except as required to deliver our services (such as sending emails via Resend).
4. Email communications
If you contact us, you may receive a confirmation email and follow-up communications related to your enquiry. You can opt out of any non-essential communications at any time by replying to request removal.
5. Data storage
Your contact information is stored securely in our Supabase database, hosted on servers in the European Union. We apply row-level security policies to ensure your data is only accessible to authorised personnel.
6. Your rights (POPIA)
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@codelabone.co.za and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
Our website uses a single session cookie to maintain chat widget state. We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies. No cookie consent banner is required for this usage.
